Most of us suffered at some point of time of a broken heart, it is very difficult to let it go when you love someone so much and you tend to get depressed. I found some good tips to help anyone who may suffering of this.

QUOTE 1. Commit to healing and to love.

2. Acknowledge your pain--don't try to stuff it down and pretend that it doesn't exist.

3. Look at things in your life the way they really are. Be careful of the "stories" you tell yourself about the situations that happen to you. Don't create "stories" about the situations that make them worse than they really are.

4. Feel what you are feeling in your body--locate where you are feeling the pain and breathe through it.

5. Talk to someone who cares about you.

6. Allow the feelings to move out of your body. Give yourself permission to heal.

I think #5 is so important. It's not always easy to find someone to talk. Many people will want to give advice or will condemn the other person, and I don't think that's the right thing to do. As a listener it's important to do just that, listen. For someone who doesn't have a listening ear to talk to, journaling is a good alternative. When we write our feelings and thoughts down it's much easier to put them into perspective and to make sense of them.
